Words and their meaning change with time. Someone referred to as a kleptomaniac nowadays is like a hoarder -who cannot let go of things, cannot let a thing go by. Decimation-originally one in ten, now often means a massacre more like nine out of ten.
Ummm... my experience. I am not sure Kleptomaniac as a Hoarder works for me. We were caregivers for my Mother-in-Law for several years, living in our home for 5 years. She was a Hoarder (when we moved her, we had to clean out everything at her home from saved newspapers to boxes of McDonalds wrappers and other food wrappers. She was also had kleptomania at a low level, (I was constantly having to remove or stop her from pocketing small items if we ever went out - stores, restaurants, people's homes, etc.) She would also take items from our home and squirrel them away in her bedroom. Doctors stated both issues of Hoarding and Kleptomania were separate issues. She progressed through stages of dementia then progressed on through to Alzheimer's. Tough ordeal for several years. I was somewhat prepared having helped care for my Grandmother with Alzheimer's. However, my Grandmother had a great childhood, so many of her episodes reflected happy times as a child. UNFORTUNATELY, my mother-in-law was NOT a good mother, and did not have a good childhood. Episodes were a lot more tough. So, from my experience, Kleptomania and Hoarding are two separate issues. I'm no crazy conspiracist, but images like this one really make you wonder. In this example, there's absolutely NO way we could tell today what any of those structures used to be. They are simply rocks, boulders, and mountains to our eye.
I don't see it that way. This is a way to produce a healthy child where "nature" would produce only stillborn or doomed ones. Mitochondrial transfer is already happening in multiple countries, I think. Compared to the stunts "natural" conception pulls -- multiple sperm fertilizing the same egg, non-identical twins fusing into a single chimeric individual with different genomes in different parts of the body, all the possible permutations of conjoined twins -- this is safe and straightforward.
I work with a gal who is a Chimera twin. She has been genetically tested to prove. She has a green eye and a brown eye. Pretty rare affliction.
This is my Boxer "Loki" He came with papers from breeder as a "Boxer" yet... He has the head of a Bulldog Body style of a Mastiff type One brown/ one blue eye Is deaf and dumb Weighs in at 122lbs. Yes, its snowing here on April 21st! Why I am not working
Awesome puppy. I always like it when you post him. I have had dogs with papers, and most without. I find that it does not matter. What matters is their Soul. Blue is Basset-Beagle-Australian Shepherd. One blue eye, one brown eye. Blue merle coat. As you can see in my Avatar pic, Blue had a brown face. We have enjoyed many miles together on our Path of Life. Claudius is Pomeranian mix... I call him Crazy-Man.
We rescued a female Rottie aptly named "Duchess". She was 9 at that time, so we figured be nice to give her a good home for her "Golden Years" Well, she lived to be 17! She was so spoiled by former owners, that she would only eat table food/ her favorite was prime rib/ mashed potatoes/ gravy/ brussel sprouts in a white sauce, also love any pie/ fruit flan Probably why she made it to 17.9 months She was an "American" rottie/ long/ lanky body style, I prefer the German one, with stout body/ bigger head/ they are really cute looking.
