Can anyone determine what the mint mark is on the dime on the left? I know the other two are S's. The one of the left is also 15 Degree Rotated Die Reverse, if that helps? Thanks, The Roadrunner
I took your images and magnified them as much as I could and from what I can tell the coin on the left, like the other two, have an "S" mint mark.
Boy with that kind of money on the line you're going to have to do better than that with the pics. I assume you can't determine anything with the loupe (duh, Eddie!)? But I think you may need one of those fancy camera-microscopes on this one, Ron. At least, for me to tell. Just can't ace this on these pics. Sorry.
Thanks again. I do have some great digital pics 2200 x 1800 pixels but of course they are to many KBs to attach here.
I can't really tell from the pictures if the left one is an S, it could be an altered mintmark though, so I suggest going to a dealer to authenticate it.
You can upload pics that exceed the 250Mb limit to ImageShack.us and then use the Insert Image function in the CT Toolbar. What I do is use the "Hotlink for Forums (2)" Link and take out the last 7 "digits" of the link and everything right before the 2nd "http" and that works. :thumb: Ribbit Ps: Here's an example of how to do it: Code: [ url = http : // imageshack.us ] [ img = http : // img389.imageshack.us/img389/6338/toadilyinsanebj9.jpg ] [ / url ] (I had to add spaces throughout the string above so the string would stay intact) Here's that string with the parts removed that make it work with the Insert Image function in the CT Tollbar: Code: http://img389.imageshack.us/img389/6338/toadilyinsanebj9.jpg And here's the image:
