Could this be my first DDO find? The doubling on the IGWT is strong, but I’m not sure if the rest is there. Liberty Is worn so it may not show. Not sure about the date. Any input appreciated.
Just so you know, Strike it Rich! Kinda drug me into this hobby. I have yet to find a major DDO in the wild, and they are out there! But the good examples are in the coin shops. Cherry pick them from a dealer. When this is over go make friends with your local Brick and Mortar they will be happy to have some business.
Sure looks like it to me - nice find !!!!! here is a PCGS pic of a nice one for everyone to see - to show it's not MD

Yes the image you posted is a 65DDO. But the OP's coin does not show this same doubling. And not even close. The doubling is flat and shelf like which means that this happened during the strike and not during the hubbing process.
Thank you for that link! Interesting. I'll have to look up our errors guys and tag them. since we have differing opinions here. Thanks to everybody for your input! It is much appreciated.
It's not so much that I have to have errors in my collection, it's more me trying to test myself on DD coins and errors. I have difficulty telling the difference between doubling types. Will save this coin just for future reference, AND because I think it's neat.
It looked like a DDO to me, too. I think that I'll give-up looking for them, because no matter how hard I try I can't tell the difference, unless it's blatantly there.
@paddyman98 We have some differing opinions here. I would appreciate your input on this one. Thanks Mike
Come on Paddyman your assessment? It's not gospel but knowledge is king? I like this coin regardless.
The very first photo looks pretty good. However, if you check Wexler's 1965 DDO, it doesn't match this coin. This coin shows MORE doubling than Wexler's. Again, I couldn't tell the difference anyway. Here is the link: https://www.doubleddie.com/980499.html
I looked at those Michael, and I agree the doubling on mine is much more pronounced. I really couldn't match it up with anything I saw at Wexler's. There is also doubling on the date on my coin (top left of 5 and possibly on the 6 and 9). I don't see it on the LIBERTY though, but that is very worn. This one has me stumped. (which isn't tough to do). Any other error guys we can tag?
