Doesn’t do much for me, but I really don’t collected Seated Liberty. It’s not a coin I’d buy raw.

 

VG-8. G-4 money. I would want it graded.

 

I am with @gronnh20 and think the seller is unrealistic with the grade of his piece.

 

I prefer the dollar coins myself.

 

I think it would slab as a Fine, but I would hope to get it at a good bit less than 1k. BTW, this one is nicer than mine. .

No way in the devil I'd touch that coin in it's present conveyance.........holdered (gotta be) for that kind of 'jing'.

 

I sure wouldn't buy it raw. But I'm not sure the seller's grade is so far out of line.

In this worn condition it’s quite hard to spot, especially if you don’t know the series...

I collect raw and buy raw. This is one of the 33 I'm lacking for a complete series, but like most I would not buy raw above $150 on EBAY or any where else sight unseen. I would however, buy it raw from a reputable dealer in person. The one in question falls within the stated grade, however I'm with toughCoins. The reverse looks off somehow. But again, not for me.

 

Nice work; I was going to say the mintmark was incorrect, but now I learn the entire rev is wrong!

 

Yeah it took me a minute and then I said something really wrong here wreath a lot more thin and sparse than a seated coin should have. A barber reverse for sure.

Seller said he is returning it to where he bought it.
