Yes, because the first few times I didn't land properly off the 3 meter board which caused some physical inconvenience. I was successful on the fourth attempt. However, that was the last, ever, try.
LOL, I can't say I've heard of the punkin or pumpkin ball dive, but I have heard of the watermelon dive. We typically tried not to land on our backs If we did, it was a failed dive. Most of the dives to get others wet were the jack knife or cannonball. The watermelon on the 3 meter board could sting. You seem to have spent a bit of time in the water yourself. Maybe we're kindred spirits? I even have a nice LMC story involving a pool and holding ones breath. I'd rather not hijack your thread any more than I have though.
Suggestion for the CT moderators. Since "Featured Articles" is a special part of this forum and one filled with excellent content, I would like to suggest that when you post one of these it be complete and all the irrelevant posts in the thread be deleted. This may take extra work as many of the comments add further information. Therefore, I'LL WITHDRAW MY SUGGESTION.
I created a new thread with the conclusion of my story and apologize for the delay. The title is, '2nd edition, My Hunt for the Pirate Ship, Whydah'

Thanks for the support. I tried to do as you indicated. Somehow, I messed it up. Too much time has passed, so I'll just go with what I have. Thanks again.
