Looks like O-103, R2, courtesy of Overton. I voted VF30 but if it got an up-bump to 35 or XF because it’s so nice, I wouldn’t complain. Hope it’s yours; if it’s not, quick, buy it!

PCGS tends to be generous with early Bust halves, that’s why I voted VF30. I can’t see all the details as the coin is pretty dark, but I’d say it’s O-103 EDS.

Nice all, I got 103 as well. The guide says that if there is a die crack present from the D in the UNITED through the S and T it’s 103a R3- it does have that die crack but the example they pictured for the LDS has all the milling worn off.

I think we'll find that PCGS gave this a 35 a minimum, and likely a 40, which was my vote. Strike must be considered on these early dates.

Yes, the weak strike absolutely has to be considered, but they still overgrade them. Look at Liberty’s face and hair, that’s not an XF in my book...

Note that the poll is for the PCGS grade. The Tom grade would be VF-30.

Ha, I had a reply all typed up last night but forgot to press "post."

I agree with everyone saying 30. There is too much wear for a higher grade, and I'm not seeing enough luster for anything higher. That color is spectacular though, and this is clearly worth far more than a typical 30.

That should definitely get a star if sent to NGC.

The luster cartwheels on both sides, I really like this coin- an 1811 I have here that also has unusually strong cartwheel luster in VF made for a fun comparison coin.

Interestingly the 1811 appears to be an O-103 too (O-103a R3 to be more precise).
