I do like that 100... i have always loved bens vingette!

 

it would be so much fun if i was a full time currency collector i would be done withthe notes i wanted in a year but sigh some things are never meant to be

 

you are right there... for me, its the consitant lack of a monetary flow though my coin fund

 

i forgot till 2011 i hope to be done with my us type set by then and then king spock will march on the currency section

Almost, but not quite. The standard print runs for star notes at the time were 20,000 sheets, or 640,000 notes. So Spock's note is from the tail end of run #4 (01920001 to 02560000), while yours is from the middle of run #5 (02560001 to 03200000). There were a total of six star runs printed for the 1963 $5 USNs, with no partial runs or skipped serials in this series.
