Sounds like "National Treasure".

 

I think his visits have something to do with his occupation. Maybe he's been contracted by the President or the Government to remodel or restore something in the White House. Thats my official guess.

To me it's plainly obvious. Doug is a member in an elite covert agency set up to monitor coin collectors and their ways. It's the disguised invisible man avatar he uses that gave it away.
