Hi everyone! A little help would be good friends, what do you see here? Any detail that catches your attention? Authentic? Fake? Many thanks!
That's about the right weight. After examining that side-by-side with a PCGS MS-64, it looks to be okay.
Also the A in STATES seems to have one both above and below the left upright. It's hard to tell just what they are on my screen. I'm not saying it's bad. I'd like to see more opinions.
I can’t call this one definitely from the pics. Weight good If it’s a fake it’s a very good one. Surfaces look real the denticles look good as do the edge reeding and I’m leaning toward real I don’t like the weakness of the top of the portrait and a couple spots I see there but that could be strike. I’d have to see this one in hand to make a final call. I’m at 70/30 real from the pics. That being said I wouldn’t buy it from these pics.
Ok, thanks guys. These comments are very useful and important to me. It is all the information I needed, and I will pass this time. Thanks!
That is the only pause that I have on this one too. But them it also appears the coin has taken a blow of sorts in that area that almost lends a cyclops appearance to Lady Liberty. I would have a hard time accepting that a counterfeiter would do flawless work on everything... Except her eye...... I feel it is a good coin with an unfortunate blow to her head.
It looks a bit rough, with what appears to be a staple scratch in front of Liberty's mouth. It would probably details grade. Lose the gloves.
