1955 Lincoln Cent DDO?

    Despite the fuzzy photos, no it's not the DDO. In 1955 the doubling is very distinctive.

    That's what I've seen. I'm learning no sense in scrutinizing something unless it's very obvious. How do you take photos for Hi Res? I actually scanned these coins at 2400 dpi with my scanner then transfered to my phone, but they were in a protective sleeve.

    Try straight phone shot and vary lighting till best composed. Out of sleeve if possible.

    Thanks Idhair. The '55 Doubled Die is to die for. I have never owned one, but seeing it again up close (compliments of Idhair's pic), has ignited a burning desire within to buy one. Besides, the timing just may be ripe to pull the trigger.

    Just use your cell phone camera. Take the photo, crop out the background and post to CT.
