The Mint stopped hand-punching the mintmark into the dies about 1990. Therefore, it could not be an RPM. ~ Chris

Is there a list of when the Mint Marks stopped being hand punched onto each denomination Obverse Die or did they all stop in 1990?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it is my understanding that all mintmarks were hand-punched into the dies at Philadelphia. If that is true, then the hand-punching for all mints would have ceased at the same time. ~ Chris
