Huh. I know the Carr overstrikes I've bought have different styles of luster, but these images look like there's barely any, just a sort of creamy matte finish. What does it look like in-hand?
It looks just like the pics. It does have a Matte look to it as does one of my 1964-D Peace Dollars. I have one that has a MS looking obverse and a Proof-like Reverse. This comment and photos are on Dan's site regarding the 1920-D Morgans. From Dan: Surface ranges from semi-proof-like to brilliant satin.
I really like the Carson City Medals. I have the Brass piece so far. Probably need to get the Copper and Silver now. Your piece looks flawless.
