Hi Mike - Normal cent this time, but keep looking. Especially when you get and older cent in higher grade. Finding varieties really benefit in a high grade.
What you have is actually Die Deterioration Doubling.. It's a worn die strike. On the true 1995 Doubled Die the doubling is very easy to see as the example given. Especially on LIBERTY
I think that this may be a CRH find. I have three and I bought 2. Unfortunately, I don't recall which one this photo is of and I didn't name the file well enough to be certain. Hindsight...I wish I labeled better over the years.
Ok i see wat everyone is talkin about....i need to get a better coin loupe..my current loupe is only a 20x...im gonna order a 60x loupe...that should deff give me vetter clarification......in a gentle since..can yu see the tru double die variations without a loupe??? (Naked eye )...
It depends on the severity of the doubling. Generally speaking, the most desirable varieties to collect do not require any special magnification (unless you are older...and need readers). But there are other more moderate varieties that are worth collecting that you need magnification. 20x is plenty for these. If you are using 60x...you are probably hunting minor/very minor varieties. I can't imagine hunting at that level for any length of time. Using a loupe or microscope 20x setup, you'll see what you need to see for Moderate on up.
