    Good afternoon everyone,

    I have been looking over a box of coins for a friend. I am not a dollar guy so i figured i'd pick the brains of some folks who may be.

    Looks like a VAM not sure of the value or designation. I have two others i will post.

    I was referring to what looks like a Die Crack around the Reverse. is the 7 tail feathers a thing for this year?

    I'm not sure what you suspect may be the reason for a variety, but all Morgan and Peace Dollars are VAM's. Is it because this 1899-O has a die crack that completely encircles the perimeter on the reverse? Unfortunately, die cracks are not generally used as the basis for attribution. You'll have to be specific about what you think you see. ~ Chris
