Bicentennial Half Dollar Find

I found a protrusive spot on this BHD. I thought this was neat.

I like the way the N is affected. Not exactly sure how that happened;

 

May have been trapped trash or something.

 

The tip of the "R" appears to be mashed, and the spot above the "I" looks recessed. The rest of the anomaly appears to be raised, including the tip on the far left of the "N". It's possible that it is a retained strikethrough. DON'T TRY TO REMOVE IT!

File it away. Poor choice of words. File means a metal file. Hahaha. You are going to put it in s 2x3 flip.

 

It is actually a metal card cataloging unit I purchased from our local library when they went digital. I bought five of them for $20. The drawers are perfect size for slabs, acrylic and cardboard 2x2's.

 

You're not going to find anything similar. It's a one-of-a-kind anomaly. ~ Chris
