Due to getting a job in a different city, I am going to have to find a new bank. As a roll-searcher, I was wondering what I should look for in a bank? I already have a "pick up" bank, where I can pick up coins to search through. The new bank is going to be my "dump off" bank, where I return the unwanted coins. I know I want a bank with a free coin counting machine, hopefully one of the do-it-yourselfers. When I walk into a prospective bank, is there anything I should ask the tellers? This is my first time looking for a new bank, so I don't know how to go about this.
I would think proximity to your residence, friendly tellers, free acct. and a good rate of return on your deposits. Go into a few and chat them up. You should be able to tell which ones will be receptive to your needs.
Can your tellers really accept tips? I'm pretty sure that we aren't allowed to. I've had customers bring us food for gifts but don't think we are allowed to accept money. I'm just curious. And if you are looking for attractive tellers then come to my bank!
Look for the branch in the area with the fewest customers. If the employees aren't busy, they are more likely to have the time to assist you.
The last time I tipped an attractive woman, I can promise you I wasn't in a bank. Although, nude attractive bank tellers would make it easier. As it is now, I go into the bank and say to the teller, "I am looking for these: :goofer:
