Thursday March 26th.. So the answer was.. A word not only used for collectors of coins but also of medals and and currency related items.. My wife and step-son both looked at me because they knew that I knew the answer. I said "What is Numismatics".. Today's Jeopardy champion gave that correct response
Ahhh....more than one answer.... A coin collector can be called a numismatic or numismatist. The word numismatic means the study or collection of currency. This covers tokens, paper money, coins and medals. It also means a person who studies or collects currencies.
As I watched that show last night, and the question came up, I immediately thought of @paddyman98 sitting at home yelling the correct answer. LOL
Now im convinced. @paddyman98. Knows much. I just can't understand his madness when i offered this member a free W guam quarter a number of times. He must have some flaws.
I just ready this whole thread and didn’t even realize until @Stevearino said you were the one and only @paddyman98 ..... Yes, I too appreciate the duck. Gonna take some time to get used to realizing who it is though!
