Wondering which eye you favor when looking at coins through a loop? To go along with that what is your dominant hand/which hand do you write with?
I favor left eye and am right handed.
This seems weird to me as left side of brian controls right side of body even before it hits the optic area. I figured r handed r eyed.

It is rather uncommon for people to be cross-dominant (right handed w/ left eye dominant and vice versa). I believe that it is only a couple percent of people who are. As an aside, nearly 50% of professional baseball players are. Think of batting........

BTW, right hand and right eye and I am lousy at baseball.

The opposing side of the brain does control muscular/sensation below the brain level, but not so with visual pathway. The nerve from each eye has about half of the fibers cross over to the other side of the brain in the optic chiasma. So each side of the brain receives info from the other eye. This way higher animals that use their "front paws" for manipulation can see what they are doing on that side of their body. Lower animals don't have this ability.
The phenomena you are talking about is "dominant eye", and usually is due to the sharpness of vision. If vision is equally sharp in both eyes, the eye on the side of your dominant hand is usually dominant.
Easy way to tell is to put a coin at your feet. Take a piece of paper and poke a small ( about pencil diameter size), and with BOTH eyes open center the coin in the hole holding the paper at about waist level. Then close one eye. If you see the coin still, the open eye is your dominant one. If the coin is no longer visible then the eye you closed is the dominant one. If you damage the dominant eye by disease or accident, the brain will switch rapidly.

p.s. If you don't want to get up from the computer, grab a piece of paper punch a hole in it, hold it at arms length , and use an icon on the screen. :)

No, it is Tanzanian Iolite. I bought a 500 ct. parcel and it was the largest stone @26 ct. It is one of my favorite species. It can mimic both of those in appearance in small sizes, but they are much more expensive. Gems can be as addictive as coins...and if your special female ever sees them...they seem to disappear?? :)
