1952 D LWC. Found this CRH. Die cracks.

    That crack on the front is pretty close to a retained cud. Cool!

    It just might be, look a little further up the rim towards the
    L of Liberty. I can't tell that area could be a rim ding. Clearer photos would be nice.

    Die cracks and die chips on a nice looking Wheat Cent. Nice find.

    I was drawn to what is going on with the reverse left rim. It's probably the lighting, but it looks like the rim becomes part of the wheat stock.

    Could be just me, but I would investigate a finer almost not seen die crack going to the rim. It isn't defined enough to make it a retained cud though. Thanks for the better photo.
