Lincoln cents were never a major collecting interest to me. Yes I had a cent book folder mostly coins found as a kid in change.
Now I understand this Lincoln variety is rare. And that most found in an 1971 S proof set that had an 1971 S no S nickel.
This one in 65 Red was indeed taken from a 71 S no S proof set which also yielded an deep cam 67 nickel yep at that time a $2k coin.
Any way can someone give me a ball park value on this variety as listed .thanks.... Coneca says it would be around $75. I really wouldn't have any other guesstimate.
None of the dealers around me want to deal with DDO/DDR's.

Heritage had 1 in red 66 sold for $285. This is red 65 pop 2 I'm thinking 250...? Fairly priced. The variety isn't listed on the slab.

I believe that this is the lesser variety ,but the rarer of the 3 of the 71 S ddo.
If memory serves me they were mostly found in the 1971 proof set with the S no S nickel. If that is in fact true > 1500 known IDK.
Just like to flip it to a collector who would appreciate the variety ,and use the funds to add to my collection of mostly h 10 's and other varieties that I collect.

How long ago was the listing on Heritage? I would imagine getting it into a holder with the variety listed. Would surely increase it's price to a DDO collector. Or, not if it's in an old rattler.
