Yeah the 82 isn't even on list to search. That 83 though...

My best so far is a proof. 1960 small date over large date. Dont have a photo, since im at work. It grades ms67. Picked it from dealer stock. Hated to break the proof set. Going to get the rest of the set graded at some point. If anyone can pull a pic of the variety, feel free to post it.

I'm not really a big Doubled Die variety collector but if I get or find a 1969 S or 1955 in change or in a metal detecting find of course I will check!

For sometime when the 1995 Doubled Die was discovered I searched for one with no luck. I finally just purchased 2 of them when I saw them priced right ;)

Here are other Doubled Die coins in my Variety collection -

I really had to think about this. As I've had & still have some. Sure the 55, the 72, 83 & 84.
But this one is my "Lucky" the dog. You know the one 3 legs, one eye no tail mut.
I admit I found it in change, ANACS had a special so I sent it in with a few others.
I tried to sell it even started at .99 no interest at all.
Yep I still got this dog, but what can i do.:(
Ahh just a thought add it to a give away ;) 1982 c DDO 12-horz.jpg

There are quite a few interesting ones out there. One I like is the 1872 DDR variety 105. Has the largest spread on any US doubled die. It is a class 1 rotated doubled die with 175 degree rotation between hubbings. Unfortunately it isn't real impressive to look at.

There are various things going on with this penny and I think it's a DD also, but am not sure how to label it (suggestions would be appreciated).

My "favorite" are the ones I find in circulation or cherry pick. Such as this one from change. 20200330_133442[4338].jpg 20200330_133355[4340].jpg 20200330_133428[4339].jpg
