It is wise to remember that every coin placed into circulation has near infinite possibilities for becoming damaged in one way or another, and mean that the vast majority of differences or anomalies you can come across will not be errors. Consider Occam's Razor.
I think it’s an error coin.. I have one that’s exactly the same! I can’t imagine two ‘42 dimes had the exact wear Pattern??
I have also a dime 1936 with In Cod We trust and it looks like the words are thick and the W mint mark are hardly see
Yours is most likely also damaged and.. the W is not the mint mark. That is the designers initials - Adolph Weinman https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercury_dime
Also i have 1965 Dime as i can still see the year using my 10x22 tiny magnifying glass , i got this from the store change reverse and front are completely damaged i was wondering how much is this worth
Why would you think it would have a premium? it is only worth 10 cents. You are correct in stating it is damaged.
Things will get better. Please don't be suicidal. You'll find an admittedly damaged coin worth millions.
