:whistle::whistle: I had to share with everyone my latest purchase from today's Heritage Long Beach Signature Auction. I am one happy camper and my collection has just been raised a point or two!! Belgium- Flanders ND(1346-1384) Lion d'or Louis De Male NGC- MS62
sure they are maybe not made of gold but .... on a serious note i agree i have my eye on of these too maybe ill get it one of these days
Spock, I now will begin saving/waiting for the right Belgium/Flanders Louis De Male "Mouton d'or" and "Flandres d'or" .. and utimately a "Heaume d'or". I also have a very "special" low country gold coin ( Mid 1700's) coming which I should have in hand sometime next week. It is also a beauty and very uncommon coin particuliary in MS grade. I'm probably tapped out of $$ resources until 2009 ... I do need to add an Indian mohur to my collection though !!!
For me to acquire all those ... I probably need to get rid of my wife :smile but seriously that's a goal. In a couple of years I will ultimately consolidate my world gold collection to a maximum 50 coin collection (currently about 65). Then I can concentrate strictly on all those "special" coins that you and I have discussed over the years.
watch out for spock we dont want a bidding war my resources are limited i cant spend millions like you
I will buy just one of those belgian coins dont want to get too far away from my speciality. get the mohurs ASAP prices are rising by the day
:hail::hail::hail:It has my praise :thumb: one very delightfull coin with very good eye apeal congratulations Harry :stooge:
Fantastic coin, and I like the idea of the '50 maximum' collection. Really keeps it focused on the best of the best.
