I understand health issues, wish you well! My doc’s tell me every month that I’ve had enough chemo to kill a heard of elephants, along with joint replacements and other issues. I’m 20 years younger, yet I still work a full time job and a part time (30 hours minimum) and also take care of my families 400 acre family farm. I find your answer to not post the rim pictures an obfuscation. Why?
I mean...if you think you have a special error, then prove it to yourself and everyone else by sending it in to a TPG and get it graded and slabbed. To be honest, the only way for anybody to take a coin seriously these days is if it's in a slab. If it's not slabbed, then many experienced collectors would dismiss it as fake, altered, or not worth their time and money.
I highly doubt if it will kill anyone if they can not see this coin in a slab. This darn thing must be worth millions from the way some members are ruffling their feathers up so much. Looks like none of you knows how to believe what anyone says. This will be your last reply from me.I'm not up for another fussy game.
You have time to post... yet you can’t put up the requested pictures?????? Doubt you will respond ( with good clear pictures ). The pictures I requested will provide the needed diagnostics to confirm or disprove your claim. Wouldn’t want to do that....
You are getting really close to being on my do not reply list. I'm really sorry to hear about your bad health problems . I have so many health problems it would take a long time to list them.I know what it is like to be in constant pain. Did you not stop to think it would be stupid to put a photo of the coins rim on here. The first thing I would hear is it is a image of another coins rim. I would like to be friends with you but I do not put up with harrasment from anyone for very long. If everyone is this hyper about seeing this coin in a slab maybe it is worth something after all. if they will calm down and give me some time I will send it in to be labeled as what it is and graded. I could have won a big bet on here a long time ago from a certain member but I already knew the coin was a real mint error and didn't want to take his money.
If you can't put up some photos and prove the coin to be as you and your so called expert say's it is please put me on the ignore list also. I see the two coins you posted as nothing other than trolling click bait.
Ohh wow! I asked an honest request, yet you came up with yet another excuse. Shame on you for stating health problems looking for sympathy. Unfortunately, I bit ( extremely regrettable now). This has been a learning experience for me ( it shall not be forgotten). Put me on your list, I am numb to you now. There have been many EXTREMELY knowledgeable (Experts) members reply, yet you don’t threaten them. I sympathized with you, but, I only asked for a couple of pics.... and this is the response I get. I don’t Ignore anyone, hope everything goes well for you.
I just got thru telling Danomite in the next post above this one that I will send the coin in to aTPG and get it slabbed and labeled as a to what it is if you all would ca,m down. well this makes 3 of you that are on my do not reply list and a fourth one is really close . Not one of you have stopped to think that whatever you say is not going to help anyone with attribution papers needed to send in with a error coin and even more needed for a unusual one. I have always known this ... So good bye
Heres another coin that will never be posted when it comes back as damage, if it even gets sent to one of them. I would advise in this instance only not to use ICG as your other coin was not labeled with the correct attribution. It was a vice job not a clashed coin.
You were asking for a totally worthless photo of the coins rim , what darn good would that have done. You all would have just started yelling the photo of the rim was from another coin. I already told you the rim is the same as a normal coin so a photo would be worthless. I will be sending this raw error coin to ANACS and I'm going to ask each of you for an apology when I get it back. Well you were half way on my list and you just made it to number 4. Congrats
Thank you for avoiding every point I made, @Avery G. No expert listed, no grading company, no proof of what I lied about, no class.
If I was already on your “ do not respond” list ... why did you reply??? Like I said before, I don’t add anyone to the ignore list. I’m a history junky and being a mechanic/ machinist I naturally have a have inquisitive nature. It amazes me that you won’t (not really) bring yourself to post the reasonably requested pictures to prove your assertions. Wishing you well, Dan
And would you look at this. You got the same reaction to this coin years ago. Same with the 88 die clash. I attached that to your other thread. I read thru some of your older threads, well because I can. It seems that you know a bit about errors except these two that you want so desperately to be real. Just give up on them or send them in for authentication. A flashback to Dec, 2011. https://www.cointalk.com/threads/no-pmd-here-i-told-you-so.196650/
And yet he keeps replying. Trolls gotta troll, I guess. I fear we’ll be seeing more of this due to people being bored with the quarantine.
"Rascal" asked me to weigh in. As everybody else but Rascal has concluded, this coin was vandalized outside the Mint.
