I picked up $200 in CWR Quarters today from a Southeast Georiga credit union since I'm on spring break this week. Overall, not a bad hunt except I didn't find any West Point ATB quarters, but I did find my first silver quarter from coin roll hunting.

2018P ATB Block Island partial collar error
1970D Washington Quarter struck on Dime stock
    1952D Washington Quarter .900
    1992 Great Britain 10 Pence
    1998 Bahamas 25 Cents
    2015 Bahamas 25 Cents

When I go to my local wells Fargo bank for pennie boxes I would see 4 boxes of halves every week. The tellers said that someone order them every week.

1 bank tonight had $70 mwr halves. Remarkable that last week I searched $4,000 worth and didn’t find a 90%er, yet $70 yielded one, woohoo!

I had to post this story. I was telling my uncle about the W quarters last week. So he went bank the bank and bought 4 MWRs - nothing. He went back to the bank and exchanged/bought 6 CWRs. In the last CWR roll he finds a Lowell W! He calls me all excited and sure enough he says the roll are generic brown wrapped and folded over on l both ends. He sends me a picture and the reverse is gorgeous, and the obverse has some minor nicks. I guess it’s probably MS63-64. He only searched $100 to find his first W, and it’s better than the 6 or 7 I have found. Go figure!

What makes you think that quarter is struck on dime stock?

Made some runs today in town to dump, pickup, and get a bottle of Bailey’s at the liquor store, lol. I’ve gotten to know the gal at the liquor store and today I asked her if she had any old coins. She checked both registers and came up with 3 coins: 1945 & 1957-D wheats, and a 1945-D nickel. Then at a dump bank, a teller sold me 2 halves. One was a very tarnished 1965.

I also picked up 2 boxes of halves, and $250 in MWR quarters to get me through the weekend. :p

The first 3 boxes this week were zip for silver. The last 2 were good scores:
    Box #4:
    1 x 1964-D
    3 x 1967
    2 x 1968-D

    Box #5:
    1 x 1936
    1 x 1941-D
    2 x 1943
    1 x 1947-D
    1 x 1961-D
    1 x 1965 (holed)
    2 x 1967
    5 x 1968-D

$750 of MWR quarters yielded no Ws, but I did get a few more Bat Ds.

I thought I would throw in a picture of a nice rainbow I caught Tuesday. My buddy and I had a great 1-1/2 days of fly fishing. Enjoy!

@TexAg , in one box you found the total number of walkers I have found in 213 boxes, congrats!

Thanks @berto. Yes, it was fun to see the ladies! The rims always give them away as the reeding is usually worn down more than the Franklins & Kennedys. ;)
And, congrats on your nice Pike. Definitely bigger than my rainbow which was about 16”. I did catch a super nice rainbow of 20”, but it fought me long and hard and I wanted to get it back in the water unharmed so I did not get a picture. I might have bested you on numbers though. My total catch was 31. :D

So, when I bought the 2 good boxes last week, my bank had a 3rd companion box which I declined. I got there right after they opened today and bought the box. Well it was great with 29 silvers (1 x 90%er), another 1974-D DDO, and a 1920 Mexican 10 Centavos. That coin is 100 years old and looks it, lol. I also dumped a lot of coins today (out of necessity), at other banks. I asked 3 different banks if they have plans to close soon. Two said they might be closing their lobbies, and leaving their motor banks open.

I've been doing 1-2 boxes a week for the last 5 months and there has been nothing. Maybe a 40% every 5 boxes. Much lower than past years. Had more luck with CWR.

My area is similar...Heavily searched. Such is life. Given CV-19 I am pausing my searches for awhile. GL all!

Ironically, I've had a big increase in silver in my area this month. However, I believe my days are numbered as banks shut down lobbies. Will be lucky if I get my 4 boxes of halves this week. Bank lobbies have been the only place I regularly saw hand sanitizer, and I used it liberally.

I'm not sure I will be able to pick up my 4 boxes of cents this Friday. We shall see. Glad I stopped doing halves. Would have to have that much $$ tied up with no place to dump it. Good luck to those of you who do.

Fun story, I spent a few hours in the Hospital ER this afternoon. My daughter fell and bit through her lip and needed stitches. 0/10 recommend going to a hospital during a pandemic.
