I saw this while looking through my wheat penny bulk, and I saw this. I took the chance to point out the area in question with paint. Thoughts?

First, new errors and varieties are always possible to be found
Second, an over mint mark IS NOT the same as an repunched mint mark.
(Sorry if that sounds a bit snarky, but I am trying to say it as it is.)

Do you see what is under my avatar? Don't mean to be snarky but I have more variety finds then you do years on this earth!
And you're wrong 100 % wrong! Do your homework and go through the 32 listings 1952 D on variety vista.

Look, im not going to argue. I haven't ever even seen you on here before. Whilst I understand that the chances of me making a new discovery is next to none, I still need to have hope. So, I will wait until someone I know and trust the opinion of.

Oh! So I found an RPM? Cool! From the shape, I want to say its a D/ inverted D?

Could I have a little help identifying the RPM on this coin? I am having issues find a coin with the correct die markers.

It looks like the OP thought the coin was an OMM; D over S. There is one listed, but it's not like the OP's coin. It could be an RPM, but I didn't see anything when I looked up the OMM for the date. One RPM did have some scalloped areas around the MM the kind of resembled the OPs coin. Maybe on the first page of RPM listings at Coppercoins? I don't recall offhand at this time though.

I looked through the list on both copper coins list and variety vista known coins, but there were none that matched too well. I am also seeing the corners of another D with the original (That may be what Paddy was talking about), but nothing has any details like what are in here. Did I perhaps discover another new error? I already have a DDR under my name, a RPM would be nice to have under my name also.

Danomite What do you say uh-huh

Can you post a better photo of the obverse and reverse pictures? Your coin looks like a RPM, but I cannot see any markers.

Don't burn a bridge my friend.
Paddy might be new to you, but can teach you more about variety's that you thought existed.

I am thinking a later die state or worn RPM-17

@Bluntflame Steady your phone on an object that has some mass to it to sharpen your images. The object should be as tall as you need to keep your image crisp without having to zoom too much. Fill your phone's screen with the subject coin making sure you have a sharp image still. Take a photo of the obverse and the reverse. Next, take a crisp photo of the date/mm making sure you don't lose details and characteristics. Lighting is important all around; flooded but not direct light so that you avoid hot spots (glare). If you think it's one variety over another, take photos of the marker sites that are similar to those posted on the websites. We can be more definitive about what you have there.

I was thinking that too, but there is no die chips in the T of CENT. I guess they could have worn away with time.
