I just got this world currency book today. I won it on ebay. There are some really nice bills in here. Here are a few examples. I really like the US 5. Its Gem Uncirculated its from 1981 series.....very very nice. Thought I would share All ths bills are Uncirculated. I thought it was a good buy at 81.00. The 5 dollar bill is worth $30.00 all by itself. I think I did good
There are about 32 bills total , but I didnt want to post all the pics. But you get the idea. This book is great.
No that was the only one. My max bid was 100.00 but shipping was a little pricey at 15.00, but then again the book is heavy. Each sheet has a piece of currency on it. Its not glued to the page its in a little sleeve so you can take the bill out to look at the reverse if you wanted to. each page has a lot of detail about the country where the bill came from each page looks like this. Also each page has its own little flag. Its really neat. Here are all the different bills and info pages. republic of malta republic of panama dominion of fiji republic of turkey grand duchy of luxembourg republic of el salvador republic of venezuela socialist federal republic of yugoslavia democratic socialist republic of sri lanka republic of singapore state of kuwait ukraine SSR kingdom of thailand republic of rwanda arab republic of egypt republic of costa rica czechoslovak socialist republic republic of djibouti republic of bolivia united republic of cameroon united states of american republic of trinidad and tobago peoples republic of bangladesh hungarian peoples republic republic of suriname french republic republic of seychelles socialist republic of the union of burma cooperative republic of guyana kingdom of belgium republic of ireland commonwealth of dominica
your max bid ws $100, mind if i ask how much you won it for? It is a very neat book! i love all the history they show with each note!
$81.00 with 15.00 shipping. So 96 total. Not bad I think. I mean, if i had to buy all these note plus shipping for each note it would of been well over 200.00 there is a card in here that has all the original membership form . Its says that each cover cost 9.95 to get . so with 32 covers that comes out to $318.40. And there were suppose to be more covers in there but it ended.
There was another identical book that sold for like 32 dollars 2 weeks earlier.....wish I was paying attention oh well.
what was the title of the auction, or the search parameters? i look under Historical Providence mint, but got no hits, past or present. also, what is the title of the cover?
never mind.. i took a stab and found these -- posted a link, but it asks for my login do a seach under The World Currency Collection .. there are 2 sold recently
World Currency - Providence Mint Collection Next time may have just come, I have a bunch of these (maybe 100 +) that were gifts growing up. Need to liquidate in order to provide care for my grandmother. Will update in a day or 2 with the complete list. Anyone interested or should I just document for eBay?
