I have a couple of nice coins but I don't know what they are or how to read the arabic dates. If anyone knows the value that would help as well. Please help!
image of the last coins reverse The first picture the size is a little larger than a US quarter. The 2nd pic the size is little smaller that a US cent. the 3rd pic the size is the same exactly as a US cent. Thanks for any help you guys can give. Tom
The first coin is Iran 5 rials KM#1207, 50th anniversary of Pahlavi rule. The date is 2535 following the monarchial calendar. MS2535 = 1976AD Catalog value in Krause for uncirculated = 3.50 $ The second coin is Syria 2 1/2 piastres KM#93 with date 1962AD (=1382AH, also mentioned on the coin). Catalog value in Krause in Unc = 0.50$ The third coin is also from Iran, like the first one . It is 1 rial with date 1338SH (=solar hegira calendar), which is 1959AD. KM#1171a with a catalog value of 0.40$ in XF and 3.00 $ in Unc.
