OK, based upon what you all have recommended i think i will start to collect; Lincoln Memorial 1959-present Jefferson Nickels 1938-present and Dansco album fo their storage. I think that should keep me busy for a long time. Thank you all for your help :thumb:
You should at least consider intercept shield albums. They offer more protection against toning than the Danscos, but are also more expensive. I personally like their green color rather than the Dansco brown.
Dansco 7070 Have you considered assembling a type set of US coins? Dansco supplies a great album (7070) which covers most major types from 1800 to 2000. This might make a good companion to your completed quarter set. Also, almost any American coin you find in Egypt could fit the book. Have you found any coin sources in Egypt (or on the Web) for a type set of Egyptian coins? Very best regards, collect89
I didnt know that (7070) album, but i think that might be my next challenge :thumb: Regarding the Egyptian coins sources are mainly coin dealers, friends and flee markets here in Egypt. The web e.g. ebay or online stores are just kidding regarding shipment fees to Egypt. I have traded, sold and bought coins with members of other forums from USA, UK, Italy, Australia, Canada....and i never payed more than 5 $US shipment (this was for about 65 coins) and the maximum package i received the sender payed about 12 $US . Online stores asked for 35 $US to ship a pack of 200 2x2 (2.50 $US ) to Egypt, while a dealer asked for 40$US shipment to send me a coin from Australia.
I agree - Ikes are easy (and cheap) to complete in BU, they are big, some are silver (40%), plus I have always liked the reverse design.
I have only one american eagle silver dollar (2007), may be i will use it if i started a type set. Dont forget that i live in Egypt :smile, what seems easy for you to collect is propably mission impossible for me :smile
