Your coin is damaged. Spend it before it dries up and blows away.

This 1911 came in the same package as the 1909 I just posted.

I had a similar one in change just a couple of weeks ago. Appears to have been belt sanded, worth 1 cent.

Still can't tell. Try cutting back on the light by diffusing it a bit or having it a little more indirect. It is too bright to see the surfaces or details.

:banghead::banghead::banghead: I've done put them in the 2x2s and stapled in I'm not taking them out to take more pictures of like you said "novelty no numismatic value pennies"! I thought this was supposed to be a fun thread where we just post pictures of different kinds of Lincoln's for I say again FUN!!! I didn't know by posting something I was going to have it be scrutinized.

Please forgive me everyone. I'm bipolar and my medicine don't always help.

I didn't pay but a dollar but for all three combined. I just bought them because I was bored and I seen them and I didn't own any so I thought why not.

I can understand if I had posted them and asked for them to be graded but I certainly did not.

I'm getting together an album of pennies but I can't ask you guys to grade every penny I get so if I look at it through my microscope and it doesn't have much wrong with it then it goes in my album.

Sometimes I find things aka... coin roll hunting, and sometimes I treat myself to things aka... buy them. I have a son but he makes nearly half a mill a year so he doesn't want for nothing. Other than my husband, I don't have anybody else. So I don't have to spend money on family like most people so I invest and shop. I guess I shop sometimes to cure the loneliness. My son's job has took him far away. So I only see him occasionally now. I don't have friends, probably the emotional problems.

    Sorry about snapping @Razz.

Anyway sorry about the weirdness guys that's enough out of me.

    No worries
No worries the last thing I want to do is take the fun out of collecting for anyone. There are a lot of ways to get enjoyment out of this hobby and we want to be sure you do not overpay for something and then get turned off after realizing the truth. You have the coin in hand. One of the ways the rest of us get enjoyment is looking at the pictures and trying to help each other out. But we can't do that without decent pictures. I know it can be a little tedious until you get the hang of it.

Another enjoyment I get is trying to post really nice pictures. That aspect is not necessarily for everyone but really shiny or proof coins are very hard to photograph. Happy hunting!

I like the color. Did you use a dark red marker or some kind of an off purple, Brandi?
