    Hello, my name is Bob
My wonderful 90 year old Aunt recently died and having no childred, she left me her possessions and such. As I was cleaning out her closet, I found an old card board box filled with gold and silver coins. I know these coins are valuable, I just don't know how much. Here's what I found in my dear Aunt's old shoe box, as follows:

10 - Gold Kruggarans 1 ounce dated 1978, mint condition with no wear & no scratches

1 - Gold Kruggarans 1 ounce dated 1978 that I aunt used as a "pendant" It is in cased in a beautiful gold star-burst that can be worn on a gold chain as a necklace.

19 - Gold Eagle $25.00 1/2 ounce gold dated 2005. All 19 of these coins are uncirculated

1 - 1980 Canada "Queen Elizabeth 2" 1 ounce Gold, mint condition, with no wear & no scratches

1 - 1910-D American Eagle/Indian Head $10 Gold piece, mint condition. It shows virtually no wear and no scratches

1 - U.S. "One Dollar Silver Certificate" (paper money) dated 1898. It is all there, but is not in the best of condition.

I haven't inventoried my silver coins yet. Can anyone tell me what these gold coins might be worth?

    Thanks,
    Bob

    1910-D American Gold Eagle

    Hello, my name is Bob
I recently inherited some gold coins. One of them is a "Mint Condition" with no visible wear and no visible scratches 1910-D American Gold Eagle Indian Head $10 Gold piece. Can anyone tell me what it may be worth?

I also have 19 Gold Eagle $25 1/2 ounce dated 2005 that are all uncirculated.

    Thanks,
    Bob:kewl:

    Hello Bob...:hail:
    Welcome to Coin Talk...:)
We need the pix to determine the approximate grade of your coin in order tell you the value.
In MS 60 the 1910-D American Gold Eagle Indian Head $10 Gold is about $450 or so according to my old Red Book.

Post up pics of this one.

It's a fairly common date. Value changes dramatically based on minor details of condition. High-end AUs are $600-ish, MS63s much more.

Don't part with it until you know for sure what you have. In MS, each point is worth big money up or down. It might behoove you to have this one certified.
