Really please share with us , also maybe we could be of help , also 1 last bit of advise , don't tell anybody what you are doing , just the words coin collection brings out many low lifes , even people you would never expect . Good luck with yoour adventure . rzage
Great advice rzage! Do not tell anybody what you're doing! Especially considering what's at stake there and with this economy. Best to keep things to yourself. Good advice for everybody. Many times it's even family members that get greedy and start slipping pieces out here and there, justifying it in their own minds one way or another. I would pass this message on to the trusted family member if they don't already realize. You can't get that stuff inventoried fast enough.
Not necessarily. Driven by speculators the coin market reached a peak around 1990 before sharply dropping. The prices of many coins (if not most) have not recovered to those 1990 levels.
This is true, but even if the prices have not recovered back to the 1990's you are still looking at 100k +. And if it is worth that much and they want to sell the collection then Heritage would be the way to go. tjenkins you may already may know this , but you are about too get yourself into a very large task. Although this can be a dream come true for some people to have a chance to go through a large collect like this, it can also become a nightmare. Just take your time and if you need help ask for it. Best of luck!
