If we can't have Secretariat on a Commemorative coin, at least we can still look at coins that do have horses. Please post a photo of your favorite horse coin. I will start with a toned Delaware State Quarter MS68. Now this is something you don't see everyday. I love it.

Someone please post a Lafayette Dollar. That coin has been on my want list for years. I am just waiting for the perfectly toned Lafayette to show itself and I will snatch it up quick.

    Hmmmmm
Horse. I think my only horse on a US coin is the 82 Washington Commem.
I'll have to dig it out and practise my photography on a silver coin, which to me is the most difficult !!

I wonder if we be lucky enough to see a James II Plantation Token Farthing or a New Jersey Copper. If not, I will settle for a civil war battlefield gold.

That is a really cool coin. This next one is not mine (I wish it was) but used to be for sale on Anaconda's Website. 1928 Stone Mountain Commemorative NGC MS68.

Can't believe that nobody has a Kentucky, Nevada, or Wyoming State Quarter.
