:hail:today my niece called me from work (Nat'l City Bank) and asked me what kind of coins I wanted. She has only been there about 3 weeks and couldn't remember what I told her. She said she has a roll of dimes that had the word SILVER written on it. I said to buy it and bring it over tonight. She asked what else to look for, I told her afew things. So, she comes over and sure enough the roll of dimes are silver.3-'52,1-'57,2-'59,2-'60,1-'61,8-'62,6-'63, and 27-'64. I'm really a beginner at this, so my question is,is there anything about those that I should look for? Or are they all commons? Also, she brought me a 1976 $2 star. Serial#B 01725849 that is in prett good shape. All of this for just $7.

Well you got your money's worth I'd say.

Save the roll until silver reaches a least $20.00 an ounce. You'd have over $70.00 in silver then.

    Very nice find.

On the 1964 you could look for the pointed tail 9 variety.

It can be really cool to have a niece working at a bank.
Some time back mine brought me seven 1934, $100 bills.
All had consecutive serial numbers and came back grading 63-67.
I don't do much with paper money but this sure got my interest.

Though you may already know this, I'll mention it just in case: the mint mark on the pre-65 Rosies can be found on the bottom of the reverse.
