It only took a year but..

Does anybody know why the American Memorial Park W quarters are worth so much more than the other America The Beautiful W mint mark quarters? I bought a War in the Pacific with W mint mark for about $10, and see the AMP W mint marks are going for 3 X that on fleabay. I'm just curious why that one is so much more. I'm assuming because fewer have been found.

I think it's more to do with the design of the coin and the desire to have it.

 

I found my first "W" witp quarter in January looks almost perfect accept a liitle nick on the front. Still keeping my eye out on others

 

Thanks for the reply. The design is nice, but nothing too special IMO. The War in the Pacific and Lowell coins are a much nicer design.
