I finally completed my first set of silver eagles.
:)hatch:1st complete set of any type of coin at that:hatch:)
Now I'm wondering if I should save a slot for 2008 with the 07 rev. Its way to pricey for me now. What would you guys do?

    Thanks :)

Wait till the dust clears Randy. Remember the 2006W? After market was real pricey to begin with and then settled down. I think this one will do the same.

Save a slot? Yeah...I think it will become affordable.

Many grading services have already designated the 08/07rev Type I and 08/08rev type II. Although mintage is supposed to be less than 40k, they are still common enough to find one quite readily. I would hold a spot for one. I was one of the lucky ones and got a couple through the mint so one sits in my book. Like Ken said, wait a little while and prices should drop a bit. Unfortunately though, it appears that it will stay one of the more expensive ASEs other than the 95W and 06 rev proof.

Tuff call. I got an over graded NGC 70 early release (did not even know it was an early realease at the time) back when they were kind of reasonable. Heck it almost killed me to buy it then but I would not pay what they are asking now. Apparently a lot of people are still very interested interested in these coins as it seems prices have remained fairly stable or maybe a tiny increase except for the PCGS first stikes over the last month or so. I think these coins will remain pricey till the next super coin comes along. While one could expect these coins to drop in price , I can not ever see them , with a more or less accepted mintage of 46,300+, going belly up so to speak.
