1982 small date penny

    Do i have 2 small dates? Also any error in letters. Also one looks like off center punch. On left IMG_20200227_084620528_HDR.jpg

    Yes you do have two small dates.the lower two in the photo. BUT....you want the small date minted in Denver that weighs 3.11 g. .

    Thanks Martha. I think i posted some 82 d on here. I'll check. Do u see any errors like liberty on these coins? Tnks again

    The small date minted in Denver was only made in zinc. 2.5 grams.
    You want the small date 1982-D in copper. 3.11 grams. (2 known).
    The coin in the upper left is a mis aligned die strike. See the double rim?
    If the reverse is normal, it's not valuable. If the reverse is also off, then
    a very small premium. So you have to show the reverse photos as well.

    I have looked at the lettering devices on each photo. I don't recognize any errors if you would..
    You may have a small degree of off centering on
    the coin on the left. But not enough that it effected any of the devices if it is a misaligned die. Maybe some one with more expertise will jump on here to put your question to rest.

    Not Off Center but a Misaligned Die Strike.

    Hope this helps you identify the difference in Large n Small date 2's you csn see the difference in the shapes of the 2s
