2005 buffalo nickel

    Any thoughts about this. I have what looks to be a Doubled rear leg on the buffalo.

    Very flat and the rest of the leg is thinner than normal. Classic characteristics of Mechanical doubling

    Try comparing the coin you find to on-line pictures of the same date and MM...unless you have another of the same in mint state condition handy...Spark

    I did compare to another but it doesn't look like a strike error. And believe me I have plenty. It's actually a perfectly pertruding line. It's isn't flat like the other MDDs.
