On the obverse to the right of head next to hairline is an anomaly. At first glance it looks like a stain, but it is raised. I took this coin to my local coin shop and their error guy said, that it is hardened grease and metal dust that wasn't cleaned from the recesses of the die and fell out and was struck into coin. He said the recesses the hair. All opinions welcome.
Believe it or not, I'm old enough to make my own rational decisions, and receive criticism and learn from it. I wasn't sent here, I came here on my own accord. They didn't bring me in here. I brought myself here. Who's the grown man arguing with the "kid"? Avery, I'm sorry, you need to find a more mindless hobby.
You sound too much like them, which one is your dad? I know a child when i hear one, and by hear, your words speaks volumes.
None are my father also, that doesn't really make sense. Neither do most of your posts. Sorry, not sorry.
If this little area is sunken in then it is a struck thru area. I don't see why anyone else on here didn't realize that. These modern coins sure do have a lot of struck thru areas from die chips and grease filled dies and raised areas mostly from die chips. If they are not very big I doubt that they would be worth keeping. Yours looks pretty good if it is struck thru.If you do some roll searching and find a really good error then some of the rest of the coins in the roll will be identical to it. I have hundreds of really good error that are from the same dies i found this way. keep it up and go get em
