Just back from PCGS. Pics were taken raw before submission. Have at it

    VF25, figure they said VF30.

I will say PCGS graded in VF35 to XF40. I really struggle with the ribbon on these "weak" struck coins. A very nice coin. Yours looks better struck than my coin - the weak strike on mine is obvious.

I like the coin. The 1909-S IHC has a much lower mintage (309,000) than the key to the series - the 1877 with a reported mintage of 852,500.

It looks VF-35 to me. Nice coin.
Edit to add. I wouldn't be shocked to see it in a 40 slab.

I'll go along with VF. The color on it is really nice as well.

Nice coin, first thought when I saw it was VF. Then I considered XF, till I scrolled down, shoulda stuck with my gut, as I don't know how to grade these guys. :D Lol, it's a nice coin, I know that for sure. :thumb:

I would say that coin has reached its maximum grade in a PCGS slab. Don't crack it out.

I say the coin is a 30 or 35, it is overgraded bigtime. Amazing huh?
