Does anyone have an up-close and personal photo of coin that's been whizzed? I've read all I can on the subject but haven't run across an example yet. Want to really know what I'm looking for. Thanks.

I saw one the other day of a Barber that was really a good example around here somewhere...but I can't find it. It was a whiz job that had been done really well. I think Lehigh posted a pic of it.

I am not sure how you could tell from any photos but maybe from the first one shown this was a whizzed coin. I think that coin could only be seen by a slightly stair stepped edge shown on the left side of the Obverse's Shoulder and Arm. From my point this could be the lighting. But my image is anything but clear to show whizzing as I am familiar.

If anyone else sees positive proof other than this coin appears cleaned. Please help me with this one. Thanks in advance.

Sorry about that, first photo was in reference to the first one shown at the link in your original post.

After posting I updated and seen all posts not shown on my initial screen.

Here is an 1868 IHC that I bought as whizzed. You really do not see the fine scratches associated with whizzing, but the color is certainly off. I have seen several like this on heritage. Have you tried looking at some of those coins?
