Can't go wrong at the Peaks. I have been to the WWII memorial twice. Very moving place. I miss Lynchburg very much. Lynchburg has grown so much since I went to school there. Ever since I went to school there, it was my goal to own that coin, albeit, slightly corroded! :goof:

I am glad to see there is interest in commems. Several of these are still dropping on price - Columbia, Delaware, etc. When do you think these coins will hit bottom?

Man, a Hawaii would be awfully nice. I am looking for a nice Columbia, maybe in a MS65. I am also looking for a Cincy in MS63 or 64.

This series is getting tough to find, at least where I live. There is not much interest in Commems here.

DimeDude - If you want to find some raw or slabbed commems, here is a great website. AUBU2 gave this to us earlier in this thread. I think they have some reasonable prices too. I have not used them yet, but will probably buy something soon. Hope you like it. http://www.commem.com/prod23.htm

Great site and I think commems are sleepers and will only go up in value as the years go by. I like them from both a collector and investor perspective.

I am working on a high grade set, some like Hawaiian and Grant with star, are just too pricy.
