Grade it before NGC please

Is that glare below the word Liberty or damage?

Yes it's a glare.

 

I guess I have much to learn?

 

I would think they ultimately need to see in person.. Some photos like this can show things that aren't there to the human eye.

Is that doubling on the bow on the reverse?
And I mean DDR, not MD?

Oh, and IMO there's a HIGH probability that it's been cleaned.

 

The many lines in the fields concern me. From the photos, I would say AU sharpness, cleaned.

 

Grade is in.

 

I would put it at XF (maybe AU) details, scratched cleaned or damaged (I think it could go any of those)

 

Wow! Good for you! That is a great grade! You never know how NGC will come out. Congratulations, that’s a good grade for that coin.

 

The coin above is it. It graded MS62.

 

I took the pictures with my Iphone 11 and then blew them up. I think the pictures were misleading.

 

They certainly were. NGC is tough with G$1 and MS62 is a pretty good grade.

 

I’m very pleased with the grade myself.

 

I was at the XF-low AU range myself.
