Hi, I have obtained these 3 beautiful ancient coins and I need help identifying the country that minted them, the year it was made, and if it is worth anything, also if it is possible to translate the inscriptions. The first two might be Byzantine I think and the last Roman. Thank you in advance.
I'll try n take a crack at it That first one is roman, I can make out Constan.... so I think it might be constantine, or constans. the rev. says GLORIA EXERCITAS= glory of the army, and I think the mint mark is SMANE, but I'mnot sure.
Please continue to help me out by identifying these coins! :thumb: I need to know the exact info to upload them to my collection on omnicoin (so far I uploaded 3 out of hundreds of coins ) I don't know if the last pic is pictured in the correct position. (the bust of the third coins sticks out) What is SMANE btw?
Thanks! the material of the coins looks different though? Is mine fake or real? and is it worth anything?

Nice job. Would not have thought Caracalla I recently picked up a Geta denarius the brother he killed. http://i333.photobucket.com/albums/m376/impavg/GEDC1147.jpg
There is a chance that it isn't Caracalla. But none of the other Heliopolis youthful portraits matched. I checked Caracalla, Geta, Diadumenian, Severus Alex., and Elagabalus. I'll check again when I have the references. That's a fairly nice Geta you have there. I've had hundeds of chances to buy Geta denarii, but none have caught my eye yet. Now, If I were to find an inexpensive Geta sestertius...
Do you mean by worth or size? Its exactly 2 cm. btw does anyone here trust this site to buy ancient coins http://www.forumancientcoins.com? are their other good websites?
That's pretty much it. I'll double check on the one from Heliopolis as soon as I can, but it'll take a while as I don't have the books yet.
