It’s a circulated buffalo nickel with a lot of wear and post mint damage. Worth less than a dollar.

Also, it’s against the rules to sell in the forums other than the Buy/Sell/Trade forum.

I don’t think I listed it as a selling item and I disagree with your response, but thank you, no need to be so condescending, I thought this was a forum to obtain good information from people with similar interest....but you make me feel like I’m an idiot for even asking. Thank you for your opinion, try being kind, I’m now thinking twice about posting anything else.

Get thicker skin. Not everything is roses and sunshine. You wanted condescending, you got it.

nothing in my original response was condescending. And you asked twice if there was any interest in your coin. Which is asking if someone wants to buy it.

    buh-bye.

Although you think there is a misplaced D in the hair, It is only damage from circulation.

Welcome to CT...from what I know of the minting process there is no logical way for a single 1935 nickel to show up with a D there. Just damage or someone messing around with it after it left the mint.

I agree that some posters on here come across as pretty abrupt, don't sweat it. Good guys here.

Sadly, a few people here seem to be intent on destroying this forum for newcomers by jumping to conclusions about posts and just being inconsiderate. It doesn't do any of us any good and they only speak for themselves. Thankfully, they are just a very vocal minority, so you shouldn't run into them all of the time. Brush it off and continue.

How was this rude or condescending? I answered the OPs questions and she promptly jumped down my throat when she didn’t get the answer she wanted.

Would you all rather I lied and sugar coated it?

Welcome to CT. Your coin is circulated and has acquired wear and tear. It has also picked up some damage from circulation but that is normal.

Sorry, not rude nor condescending, just plain spoken. No malarky here. If you want real information, this is the place. If you want to be treated delicately, not sure where to tell you to check. Hope you decide to stay :(

She didn't come across to me as asking if any one out there reading her thread wanted to make an offer on it.
I think she felt she had an "error"
coin. And if it was an error coin is there any market out there in the collectors market for this type of error.
