1989 Penny is this reverse of 89?

    I wasn't even looking for this I just happened to come across it while I was fixing my microscope. I read about and this is what is a reverse of 89 penny right? It's got the flared out G right and a 89 is supposed to have the not flared out G right or am I confused? 20200222_191801.jpg

    Yes it is the reverse of 89. You said your coin was a 1989...therefore making it the correct FG for your coin.

    What year is your coin? 1989 or 1988?
