Do you mean do I think it's lipstick? No. Do you mean do I think it happened over a very, very long time? The answer to that is, it can't be answered, because this very well could have happened in a week. In fact, I've seen zinc 2008s "naturally toned" much more spectacularly than this little candy bar. I agree with Becky. It's not lipstick? Then it's market acceptable. That's the inquiry. Not whether the toning happened by accident or design...
tough to say without the coin in hand. I've seen coins in close contact with certain kinds of plastic or celophane do that where it touched the high points of the coin, then again that has another type of look to it as well as if it were heat treated.
