Well guy's....I decided on the note I wanted to add to the collection... What do you think?? He is one of my favorite characters from the Civil War Era....the Sec of War Edwin M. Stanton... Thanks for taking a peek... RickieB
wow! it ONLY got a 65?? must be because of the thin top and bottom borders ... i dont see much else wrong!!! That is a very nice note!!!
I am taking that since I see the $5 LT is still not sold that you did not bite on it... perhaps you want me to get it aye? BTW I am looking for the 1862-63 $20 LT in at least VF to upgrade my current one. Oh BTW nice note with Ed Stanton twa

Man, that looks waaaaaaaaaaaay better than most of the notes I get from the bank, LOL. VERY beautiful note Rickie, and I'm sure it will fit in very nicely with the rest of your collection man. Congrats!!! :thumb: Phoenix
Thanks again everyone.... The other note will be one to behold...(I hope) Some varaibles there but if all goes as planned it will become the top rated note in my collection. Stay tuned.... Regards and Good hunting to you all... RickieB
Thanks RickieB for the opportune of the fiver, but I hae Columbia on the $20 in my sights instead. I must upgrade that one first, then the fiver. But you have good taste in currency, even if there are no females on them.
Hey...wait a sec... most of my 4th Issue Fractionals have a Woman on them...LOL and the $1 Original NY National has the "Concordia" vignet...and some of my Obsolets have women as well..... Nothing compared to what your theme and collection have (which is just beautiful) :bow:by the way! Planning on adding the MPC after I finish soem other things on the project boards... RickieB
Ah good choice, fair warning though, some of the notes in TPG holders go astronomical in price as I am finding. But... how can you collect something so nice, from the USA, and with loverlies on them? http://www.geocities.com/scottishmoney/banknotes/usa/usampc.html http://www.geocities.com/scottishmoney/banknotes/usa/usampc2.html There are some Series 541's that beck and call for me to buy them, but as noted they are quite the financial commitment. But I am looking, and the guy that has the $5 LT also has very very nice MPC on his site.
BQ....hows it going?? Thank you very much...LOL There is a special note coming in a few months....this one is indeed grand! Hope all is well. regards, RickieB
