Sorry to hear that AJ, at least you still have the money. That's one of the good parts about roll searching, you lose only time.
5000 or so coins is not a lot to search really. If the good errors and varietys could easily be found in such a small lot ( in mintage perspective ), they would not be rare or valuable !! I'll try again some day, thank for the well wishes and help everybody.
I always say "keep looking!" even though the percentage of coins you look through is small, you never know. I was into Hot Wheels pretty heavy and always read about a certain extremely hard to find variation. Figured I'd never see one. I walked into a CVS Pharmacy in Maricopa AZ and there were 3 of them hanging on the pegs.....no....it can't be. But it was. Paid $1.29 each and sold them over eBay and other sources for $575.00 for the 3... You never know. (Invested that $575 into my coin collection, needless to say!)
G'Day Jack I'm sorry you didn't find anything mate,My eye's are that bad I have to use a microscope to see the doubling if any so good luck with your next 35 pound regards Harry
Oh well, nothing this time but we all know there is another bag, roll or box that's just waiting to be searched. You don't get the prize often but when you do it makes it all worthwhile. Even finding the smallest rpm or machine double can make it fun. To me it's the thrill of the chase. Better luck the next time Jack!.... John

I need to get you, Magman and myself in a " search party " one weekend, lol. Maybe we'll do it at my table at the next Scottsdale show.
