I found this in a $500 box of Kennedy's from the bank last week. This will be my 3rd coin with no FG. IMG_0033.jpg IMG_0034.jpg WIN_20200217_18_52_55_Pro.jpg

Nice find! I've only come across a few '82 no FGs, never a '74.

What's the value on such an error?

Did you find anything else of interest? Silver at least?

It is impossible for me to tell from the two images if your coin is missing the "FG" due to over-polishing by the Mint or simply a grease-filled die. Your close-up is not conclusive. Note that the lines representing the shafts of the arrows seem to have disappeared as well. If this was truly a Mint error, you would think that a lot more of them would have been found in the past 46 years. ~ Chris

Well, normally I find Kennedy's 2002 and up. I keep those, especially if they are in great shape. I have been checking Kennedy Boxes for the last 1.5 years and I have only found 1 silver...a 1968 and that's it. I find more silver in pocket change then searching through boxes of Kennedy's. But I will continue to search through them. I like it when I get proof "Like" coins. Those are my favorite.
